  12. Sounds like a lot of beating for 20 minutes! Wouldn't the meringue be beaten to smithereens being beaten for 10 minutes?

    1. I had lots of little chunks of meringue left in my fudge. I used the whisk attachment on my kitchen Aid, if that helps!

  15. Can heavy cream be substituted for the double cream? It is extremely difficult to obtain double cream in the US.
